George's
RC History
My first venture in flying aircraft started back in the 60s trying to fly a Cox .049 control line P40 War hawk. My friend and I spent more time trying to get that little engine running then flying.
A lot of different interests came and went before regaining interest in flying again. In the late 70s a friend invited me out to a flying field to watch him do some pattern flying. Well game was on.
I joined the club Tri-Village Rcers located in Schaumburg, Illinois. I flew a number of different aircraft with a main interest in pattern flying.
In 1988 I made a big move and relocated here in Florida. I had way to much stuff to move so all the hobby stuff had to be sold off. Again many different interest came and went during that time and now. A few years ago I was making a trip to the dump and low and behold RC airplanes were flying around the landfill area. Well here it is three years later and a house full of planes not quite finished and a garage that has turned into a hanger.
